New Wine is all about equipping the local church. One way this happens is with leadership training. Mark Griffiths and Brian Champness are gurus on all things children and youth ministry and church leadership related.
Leading Intentionally: A 2 hour session for church leaders who are wanting to invest in their leadership. We offer a time of worship, ministry and teaching where we ask and answer the how-to’s of laying the foundations of future church growth. Mark offers a radically different perspective stemming from his recent research into how to effectively pass faith on. Stay for lunch and networking and Faith Convo’s.
Faith Convo’s: A 2 hour session for church leaders, children and youth ministry leaders. Following lunch Mark paints a picture from his research of how the church is doing, followed by a facilitated roundtable discussion on how to foster faith across all ages.
The Art of the Story Workshop: A 90 minute workshop for anyone working with children or youth. A workshop designed to equip you in storytelling communication. Mark is a world class storyteller, and offers the thesis that Jesus told truth through story. Get equipped to do likewise through this high input, high quality workshop.
Passing it On Evening: An evening of worship, ministry, teaching for children and youth workers, parents and caregivers, grandparents and Bible in school teachers. This evening will focus on passing our faith through the generations.

He is author of Fusion, Impact, Detonate and Don’t Tell Cute Stories – Change Lives. He has completed a PhD with Nottingham University, the thesis of which is that the church is one generation from extinction coupled with how we grow churches through children’s ministry. He until this year led Warfield Church on the edge of London which is a church consisting of 5 congregations.
For those who haven’t heard him at conferences such as Kidsreach NZ and Australia, and New Wine, he is a must if you are serious about growing yourself and your ministry.
New Wine Kids Australia is led by Brian and his wife Ali, who have ministered for 5 years in the UK as Childrens and Families Pastors and were part of the New Wine Kids Leadership network. Each year they ran “Boulder Gang” at the New Wine summer conference which involved over 600 children and 120 leaders! Brian and Ali have a passion to mentor childrens and families leaders who will reach this generation of children with the love of God and the Good News of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit.
